  • O'live (cocktail and tapas bar): 10:30 a.m - 10:30 p.m. (kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m.)
  • O'bergine (buffet à volonté restaurant): the buffet is open from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 21:30 p.m.
  • O'ase (health bar): from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • O'rizon (à la carte restaurant): Thursday till Monday, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Car

Waer Waters is located near the E40 Ostend/Calais-Brussels highway (exit 20 Ternat) and the Brussels RO ring road (exit 11 Groot-Bijgaarden Dansaertlaan). There is free parking at the wellness complex. 

Note: The Exit Ternat on the E411 is currently closed due to road maintenance work. 

 

Transit traffic towards Brussels and Ghent on the E40 motorway:

  • From Monday 15 September 2025 until summer 2026, the emergency lane on the E40 will be closed in the construction zone in both directions. Traffic will run on 3 narrowed lanes.
  • During the works, the E40 will be completely closed for 5 nights. The bridge demolition will take place from Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 September (from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.). The other closure nights will be announced later.
    Detour during E40 motorway closure:
    • Traffic towards Brussels will be diverted via the Aalst exit and the Ninove road (Ninoofsesteenweg).
    • Traffic towards Ghent will be diverted via the Ninove road and Ninove towards the on/off ramp complex in Aalst. There, drivers will make a U-turn to rejoin the E40/A10.

 

Transit traffic and heavy vehicles between Asse and Dilbeek:

After the bridge demolition and until summer 2026, traffic in both directions will follow the detour via Raymond Pelgrims de Bigardlaan, Roekhout, Frans Schachtstraat, Brusselsesteenweg, Zuiderlaan to the Brussels Ring (R0) and Brusselsesteenweg (N9).

 

Local traffic only:

After the bridge demolition and until summer 2026, traffic in both directions will follow the detour via Groenstraat – Isidoor Van Beverenstraat – Louis De Bondtstraat – Kerklaan – Vliegwezenlaan – Doornveld and Brusselsesteenweg (N9).

 

Bus

Traveling to Waer Waters by public transportation is not easy but possible. Bus 355 Brussels-North-Ternat-Liedekerke stops every half hour on weekdays at the Groot-Bijgaarden Rodenberg bus stop, 300 meters from Waer Waters. On Saturdays the bus runs once every hour, on Sundays and holidays only once every two hours (delijn.be). 

 

Train

The Dilbeek train station is one kilometer from Waer Waters. On weekdays, a train stops there twice an hour in each direction, alternating between the S4 Mechelen-Brussels-Schuman-Aalst and S10 Brussels-South-Aalst connections. On weekends and holidays, only the S10 trains serve Dilbeek station once an hour (nmbs.be).
